Aberdeen Artists Society Annual Exhibition · 30 April 2011

I’m delighted that one of my paintings has been selected for the Aberdeen Artists Society 77th Annual Exhibition. This major annual ‘open’ exhibition provides professional, established, amateur and emerging artists with a platform to show an exciting range of work including painting, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery, textiles and film.

“Ripening Barleyfields, Lethenty” is the largest plein air landscape I have undertaken so far. Painted in ink and acrylic on paper, it has been beautifully framed using reclaimed oak from Marischal College. The exhibition opens at Aberdeen Art Gallery Sat 30 April – Sat 28 May (Tues – Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 2-5pm).
